DIRECTOR
Ken Rock FCIEH FRSPH CMIOSH MCMI
Ken is both a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and a Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner; the first twenty years of his career were spent as an Environmental Health Officer, mostly in this country but including a 3 year secondment to Zambia.
He has worked in general public health and, as a law enforcement officer, he specialised in food safety, health & safety and health promotion.
For six years he was a Principal Officer at one of the largest District Councils in England. Initially responsible for formulating and administering enforcement policies relating to food hygiene and health & safety he later concentrated upon health promotion initiatives (an exhibition mounted by his team won a national merit award for home safety).
For the past nineteen years Ken has been a consultant, working with a wide range of companies and organisations on both health & safety and food hygiene issues. This has involved policy development, auditing and training.
Ken is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety & Health and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
